file name extension incorrect crashes mi1?

This may be a .NET issue, but I thought I'd post it just in case...

I picked up a file via p2p that had an .mp3 extension in the file name but that turned out to actually be a .zip file type of the mp3's. When I went to open it in mi1 I got a popup error message with the option to "Continue", which I clicked. But after that, no options to do anything in mi1 were available (all buttons grayed out) so I had no other choice than to close it. If possible, it seems it would simply be better for mi1 to treat incorrect file types as AlbumWrap and Alba Extractor do and simply report them as incorrect/incompatible, no?

thanx----

Hi There,

Look for a fix in the next release, MakeitOne was never tested for falsely named files - what you are seeing is .Net catching the exception but doesn't really help the end user.
