Setting Genre or Year correctly in album
Posted: Fri Oct 06, 2006 7:55 pmI use MP3 Album Maker mainly to put together audio books. That is:
I rip several audio CDs that make up an audio book (with CDex). Then I have e.g. 50 MP3s, all tagged with the same genre (Audiobook) and year, even artist and album are the same for all.
After building the archive wit AlbumMaker, the genre and year has to be set by hand (with some ID3 tagger).
It would be great if you could set the genre and year for the album to that of the first file in the album. Or even better: Only set it if all files have the same tagging. But the first file would be fine for me.
